VACANCY

Our client is an international insurance group with a heritage spanning more than 180 years. Our client is the market leader in Belgium for individual life and employee benefits, as well as a leading non-life player. In the UK, they have a strong presence as the fourth largest player in private car insurance and the over 50’s market. The organization employs more than 13,000 people in the consolidated entities and over 20,000 people in the non-consolidated partnerships and has annual inflows of more than €21 billion.

For their Corporate Center department our client is looking for a Developer Financial Consolidation Reporting Tool, based in region Utrecht.

THE POSITION OF DEVELOPER FINANCIAL CONSOLIDATION REPORTING TOOL

Responsibilities;

  • Support BI tool for end user reporting;
  • Translate functional specifications into a technical design;
  • Implement the change in the software package (BFC) and other tooling; (e.g. Net,C++, SQL Server);
  • Maintain technical documentation of the system;
  • Perform Unit Testing;
  • Provide training.

 

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate has;

  • An academic Bachelor or Master degree in Finance / IT / Engineering;
  • Detailed knowledge of SAP Business Object Financial Consolidation (BFC), including consolidation rules, category builder and report designer module;
  • Good knowledge of SQL language;
  • SME with Information Systems and willingness to become an expert;
  • Knowledge of Magnitude software is an advantage;
  • Insight in IFRS, annual accounts and consolidation techniques;
  • Knowledge of Solvency II is an advantage;
  • Strong skills in usage of reporting tools;
  • Excellent communication skills to build relationships with customers and for documentation;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (written and orally).

 

SALARY

Our client provides an excellent salary, secondary benefits and an additional performance bonus. The collective agreement for the Insurance Industry is applicable. Furthermore, candidates will be working in an enthusiastic team of professionals in an international and dynamic environment.
